Empty Quarter

The Empty Quarter is the largest contiguous sand desert in the world. Walking it across two winters, I made photographs about scale: how a single body changes a horizon, and how a horizon erases a body.

The work is unhurried. Most days produced one or two negatives. The series is the residue.
